My story
Hi, I'm Jamie!

Originally from Scotland, I grew up on the Isle of Skye before moving down to Wiltshire, England to work with young people as an intern in 2021 after studying at Bible College. Over that year, God spoke clearly by calling me to make this new church my home.

God released a gift of administration in me through my discipleship journey with my own senior pastor, where he encouraged me to step out in faith and serve in the Operations team - an area I hadn't considered before. God then prepared me to embark on an incredible journey of serving leaders and building His Kingdom through the local church and international church planting amongst a great team of Christian leaders.

Developing a gift

Serving in the Creative Team
After nearly 2 years of working in the NHS, I felt God calling me to prioritise ministry over a career. I stepped out of my face-to-face role and took on a remote role in the charity sector working as an administrator, allowing me to give more time to serve at church. I progressed to become a remote Business Support Officer & Executive Assistant in London.
Alongside this EA role, I gained experience in supporting our church's Operations Lead to project manage events, run team communication and oversee our church database, all whilst studying the final two years of my Bachelor's degree in Theology, Mission & Ministry. After an intense period of studing, I graduated in November 2025 with 1st Class honours and a specialism in Missional Leadership.
After my internship finished, I started working full time in a local NHS mental health team. I gained significant experience here working with young people and adults in mental health crisis, and people with additional needs.
Whilst working there, I began to give more time to church, where I took on safeguarding responsibilities and management of our volunteer team recruitment. I also stepped up to lead the band in the Creative Team, and with the team started to teach young people how to serve in God's kingdom through music.

Graduation 2025
My why
I had the privilege of taking on the role of PA to the Senior Pastors of Equippers Church Swindon in 2024, and through this have seen God move in many powerful ways. Most significantly, I have seen God teach me, through doing life with my pastors, that it is impossible to carry the responsibilities of full-time ministry alone, and in fact there is a need in God's kingdom - right in front of me - for senior leaders to be supported with excellence so they can focus on what really matters: creating impact for Jesus.
As my PA role has developed, I have grown to give full support on travel bookings, communication and calendar management. I had the privilege of supporting my pastors from the beginning to pioneer the launch of our brand new church plant in Braga, Portugal in September 2025. This church is now thriving, already having seen many baptisms and new salvations every week.
Launching PastorPA
My vision is to see pastors equipped, effective and seeing fruit in their calling without burnout. Joining PastorPA is not just about hiring a PA, but about sharing in God's wider kingdom work for the world. I would love to journey with you and experience the fruit of your ministry together, and my goal throughout our time working together will be to free up your time spent on admin so that you can focus on the calling God has given you.
PastorPA's mission is to provide pastors and church leaders with a trusted PA service, freeing them to focus on God's ministry, God's people and God's purpose.
